Saturday May 31
the 151-year-old Dahl House
508 Jefferson Avenue
4:00pm to 7:00pm
The 1857 Dahl House was originally located just north of downtown. In 1998, the construction of the new Minnesota Department of Revenue building threatened the home. Preservationists convinced the state to move the property to its current location. The West 7th/Fort Road Federation then restored the building to its 1850s configuration and converted back into a residence (source: AIA Guide to the Twin Cities).
Please bring a dish and bits of Dahl House history to share!
