For two Sunday’s in September HSP will be one of a coalition of community partners participating in a series of open houses to highlight and encourage homeownership in Saint Paul neighborhoods!

The Welcome Home Tour will focus on the City of Saint Paul’s Invest Saint Paul Initiative neighborhoods of Payne-Phalen, Dayton’s Bluff, the North End and ThomasDale (Frogtown), and will feature vacant properties available for home ownership.

It is a great time to consider buying a home in Saint Paul! Their are a variety of unique incentives available to encourage home ownership – and still time to qualify for the $8,000 federal tax credit for 1rst time home buyers (to qualify sales need to close on or before November 30).

Come and take a look! To find out more about the homes on the tours consumers can pick up maps and information at the following locations on the day of the events:

Payne Phalen Tour 506 Kenny Road, Suite 130 located north of East 7th Street and west of Payne Avenue.
Dayton’s Bluff Tour 798 East 7th Street located at the corner of Margaret and 7th Street.

September 27, 2009
From 12 pm until 4 pm
Frogtown Tour 533 North Dales Street located on the southwest corner of Charles and Dale Street.
North End Tour 843 Rice Street located on the northwest corner of Rice and Atwater.
