In an effort to reach out to Saint Paul neighborhoods and generate interest in the preservation of Saint Paul’s historic building stock, Historic Saint Paul (HSP) hosts Free Design sessions throughout the year. The sessions offer residents an opportunity to consult with professional architects to discuss their house style, and potential exterior projects to enhance the appeal of their homes.

July session is scheduled: July 27, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Rice Street Library, 1011 Rice Street (Rice & Lawson)

At the free design events, architects volunteering for Historic Saint Paul will be on hand to discuss the unique features of your home and sketch ideas for historically sensitive exterior improvements. Bring a large photo of your house to Free Design Thursday.

Space is limited, so call Becca Hine at 651-222-3049 today to schedule your meeting with an architect (walk-in’s welcome, but no guarantees). Also, you can learn about our low interest exterior loan program, recently expanded to the West End and the West Side.
