Historic Saint Paul acquired the McCloud-Edgerton House at 311 Walnut Street located in the Irvine Park Historic District (local and National Register) which was a Category 2 Registered Vacant Building condemned and in very poor condition. The value of the land along the West 7th corridor was considered higher as a vacant lot  - threatening its future . family who purchased and rehabilitated the property, ensuring its long-term preservation.
