949 7th Street West
This neighborhood bar and restaurant, in a row of historic West Seventh commercial buildings, had an uninviting and unsympathetic, late 1940s storefront with tiny windows. The new storefront allowed the owner to remove the dropped ceilings, exposing the original tin ceilings, and open up the establishment to the street with large windows. The stucco was removed from the second-story facade in April 2017.
